Andie's Baby Shower for Mookie

The welcome note explaining to guests what they need to do on the "guest tree"

Ang and I made LOTS of tissue flowers in the colors Andie has picked for Mookie's nursery! They brightened things up and were quite adorable!

Little "gift" bags for all the guests to take home goodies from the party! Ang had a stamp at school that worked perfectly to keep with the OWL theme!!!

The table with twigs and nests to display the cute felt owls we made!

Keeping with the theme...we made butterscotch nests and cornflake nests for the guests to enjoy!

Mookie is the nickname Andie and Tim have chosen for the new baby boy!

Andie's chair and starting gift...The owl picture up on the left is one of the 2 Angela made for the nursery! So adorable!!!

Here's "Hooters"...Alan and I gave this to Andie and Tim (well Mookie) for Christmas...it was the inspiration for the nursery! So of course she had to make an appearance at the shower! She was part of the photo booth section you'll see in pics below...

Instead of the normal guest book...we kept with the theme and had all the guests put a green finger print to act as a leaf on the tree...then sign their name around it. After all 30 some guests signed it was ADORABLE...Andie can frame it and hang it in the nursery!

The whole guest table! and there is the other print Angela did for Mookie's nursery!

Another felt owl perched on the staircase beam in her little nest!

Another owl close-up! They are just tooo adorable, Ang and I have big plans for all of them that will be a great addition to the nursery!

I call this DESSERT ISLAND!!! It was full of yummy bite-sized sweet treats Ang and I made for the guests to enjoy and take home as favors!

Savory Station...mini fruit kabobs, cheese/meat kabobs, pinwheel sandwiches, and crackers with dried beef dip (Tim's favorite so I figured maybe his little boy would love it too...Andie says "yes...Mookie enjoyed the dip".

Ang is an amazing photographer so we figured it would be fun for Andie to have pictures with all her guests. I had seen this "frame" trick before and thought it was cute! I think Ang will get that frame and hopefully paint it up cool and use it in her shoots!!!! It was so much fun!

What a wonderful day! Andie's shower was so much fun to plan and we had an amazing turnout. She got all kinds of great gifts and I think she really enjoyed visiting with her friends/family! We all love seeing her baby belly grow and just can't wait to meet that little Mookie!!!! Congratulations to Tim and Andie!
