Our good friends Andie and Tim have new baby Fisher Matthew to love every day! He is so cuddly and the sweetest baby. You can hold him for hours and time just slips by. We call him Lil' Fish (Uncle Alan decided that). Angela took these pictures (www.laynajanephotography.com) she is so talented! Can't wait until we get our family photo session this summer! Congratulations to Andie, Tim and baby Fisher. Although I know his mommy and daddy will spoil him enough, I can't wait to as well. Love you all!

All ready for fishin'
So my Dad got this hilarious idea that he wanted to send a picture of him all "ready to fish" to his buddy Tanner in Norfolk (a prior co-worker). Dad was laughing so hard before the picture even started I had no idea what he had in mind. Then he comes out with his tackle box, my nephew's Sponge Bob Fishing Pole and the legs of his shorts hiked up ...still laughing hysterically. He posed and this is the picture he had imagined. OMG we laughed and laughed until all of us were crying. I text the picture to Tanner and I am pretty sure he did the same! HYSTERICAL!

Sugar meets a Horse...
Last night my cute little preggers friend Darcy asked a few girls over. They just bought a house...let me just say it is a house fit for Oliver! As you can see by the pictures...Oliver (aka Horse) is 185 pounds of pure love! He is adorable and well...HUGE! The house has tall ceilings, many many rooms to play in and an enormous living room and kitchen. Oliver and the two kitties are loving their new digs! Darcy made taco turnovers (YUM) basically seasoned taco meat and cheese stuffed in the middle of rolled biscuit dough and folded then baked...just plain goodness if you ask me! Gina brought some yummy guacamole with chips and spanish rice which rounded off our dinner well...I brought Blue Moon (for Gina and I ...not my pregnant friend silly!) and Sopapilla's from Elbee's. I called and asked if I could buy them frozen and bake at home...they said "I don't know why not...LOL" So 500 degrees for about 4-5 minutes and we had fluffy airy triangles of sweetness...then pour honey and sprinkle sugar and cinnamon over the top while warm and BAM you have sopapilla deciciousness! Sugar and Oliver were besties after the first 2 minutes of some butt sniffing. They were adorable, he is a gentle giant if I ever saw one! Thanks Darcy for inviting us over and for making us feel so comfortable.

Let there be landscape...
My Dad and Debbie's house is coming together! The weather was finally nice enough for the exterior to be painted and all the landscape to be planted (which you can see is nicely manicured by my father who LOVES to mow...weirdo. LOL) The front door and garage doors are being gel coated soon and will look like wood. Can't wait for that to be done. It is looking so awesome! They did a wonderful job of creating a home that feels so warm and comfortable with a nice mix of elegance! They painted the main level a beautiful rich golden yellow that adds so much life and sunshine to the house...so much better than a lot of the drab grays and tan's so many people use. Neighbors, delivery drivers, contractors, and friends are awe struck when then walk in...love all the colors and decor! Most of the furniture is now there and it looks like a show home! The Omaha World Herald is doing a story on Alan and they will be featuring Dad and Deb's house in the article! Can't wait to see it! Congratulations to my Dad and Debbie on building their dream home! Happy to have you so close to us now! Love you!
