We had a great weekend. Friday night went to the Funny Bone, Saturday Alan played in a volleyball tournament all day so Sugar and I went to visit Aunt Julie, Rick, Tori, John, Leann, and Bo at Mike and Sandi's lake spot. We swam and ran around all afternoon, it was great! Saturday night we met Travis and Lisa in Louisville for a fundraiser event. Had a few drinks in the beer garden, it was a good time. Sunday was a busy day for little Miss Sugarpants...with Puppy School, then Dana came out to visit with her 3 dogs...then Dave and Sarah brought their 1.5 yr old lab, Daisy...and 10 month old son Beau out to the lake! Sugar got a new kong and some yummy kong filler and a fun new toy from them...she is so excited. Then we all took a little nap before heading over to visit Grandpa Russ and Nakoma...Sugar played and played and when we got home at 9:30 she CRASHED --- HARD CORE! She slept until 6am this morning...mom was sooo happy! Today is Sugar's first day "on the job" ....LOL she went with Alan to make the rounds...she is the hit of the construction sites I guess! And...even is listening to her daddy, which is soooo great! I really hope she is good so he can start to take her more often. She needs to start earning her keep! LOL

I had a meeting with the ACS last night downtown, then went to Blue with Steph and Rick for a little sushi (LOL so that means I went to Blue two nights in a row!)...on my way home I stopped by Brownies to see Ms. Traci Sue! They had Karaoke night --- always fun to listen to all the "sober" people sing. Had a good time with Sue Sue, Patti, John, and Creighton! Nice to see everyone!

CAR RIDE

We went to visit Grandma and Grandpa Larsen's last night while Alan was at volleyball. Boy Sugarpants was a wild child...running all over the place, making me chase her and thinking it was hilarious (so did g-ma and g-pa). I, however, didn't find it quite as amusing. LOL She got to play with more of "late Uncle Piere's" toys which was so much fun! And showed g-ma and g-pa her tricks...they think she is a brilliant grandog!

On the way home she had her head hanging out the window thinking she was a big shot! Got home and she napped for a bit then woke up to play a little more when daddy got home. She slept ALL NIGHT --- from 11pm to 6am!!!! WHOO HOO --- let's hope that is a sign of good night sleeps to come!

I am so exhausted from playing in the sand, water, dirt, mud, etc etc etc...wrestling with Nakoma...I was panting for hours! But I sure slept great!

HMMMM --- at first glace you think it is grease, but NOPE --- not so lucky...as you get closer there is a STENCH...and you realize it is GOOSE POOP! WHAT A TOM BOY!

I have so many friends down at Mike and Sandi Mann's lake...but Tori is my NEW friend --- I like her A LOT! And thanks again Aunt Julie for being on fish eatin' patrol!

Boating is so much fun!

I am a dare devil and enjoy jumping off the boat when I see other dogs on docks that I want to go play with!!! Lots of fun for mom and dad. But look at my new wavy hair-do! LOL They say it happens to most lab puppies and eventually straightens back out. But I look like I have a permed stripe down my back!

Our little Sugar Pants is officially a BIG GIRL!

So --- 4 weeks ago we got our little baby Sugarpants, and we took her to the vet...she weighed in at 9.8 lbs. Yesterday for her 2nd vet appointment...she weighed...are you ready for this...20.4 pounds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT A BIG GIRL!! The vet says she looks really great and has lots of muscle...so she is doing just fine. They were all very impressed with all the tricks she knows and said we were good puppy parents! AWWW!
